Windows 7 End of Life / Support Notification

As many are aware and have questions about their systems being non-supported by Microsoft.  We want to assure you if your system was purchased within the past 4 years with Tab Wizard, your system is currently supported by and continues to be supported by Microsoft until October 12, 2021.

Tab Wizard systems run Windows Embedded POSReady 7 and is not the retail version of Windows.  You can be rest assured if your system was purchased directly through Tab Wizard Inc, your system is supported by Microsoft for security implementations.  If your system was not purchased through Tab Wizard Inc, you may be at risk and would then need to upgrade your hardware to be compliant.  Systems running Pull Tab only would not typically be connected to the internet and therefor there would be no security threats at all however, if you are using Food & Beverage Point of Sale through the Tab Wizard system, please be aware your system may be vulnerable to security threats if not on Windows POSReady 7 or higher.

Tab Wizard is currently building a new platform and will be ready for the 2021 deadline and in hopes for much sooner however, currently, there is no need to run out and grab a different operating system just to be Microsoft Supported.  Tab Wizard Inc remains dedicated to supporting customers using older operating systems on current support plans.
